WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?
Full fees for individual sessions with our Clinical Psychologists are $250 per 50-55 min session. Full Fees for our Registered Psychologists are $220 per 50-55 min session. Payments are due at the time of the session and rebates (if applicable) will be processed immediately after.
It is important to note that we do have a cancellation policy. When you book a session, that hour is allocated to you. If you do not attend your appointment or fail to cancel within 48 hours, you will be charged the full fee for the session. We understand that some unanticipated events happen, and we ask that you please contact the clinic as soon as possible if you can not attend so that we can allow someone else to fill your appointment.
CAN I GET A REBATE?
Yes, with a current Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you can claim a rebate from Medicare. We can process this on the spot for you. Your gap payment will be approximately $130 per session or less if you are at the Medicare safety net.
CAN I CLAIM ANYTHING BACK FROM MY PRIVATE HEALTH FUND?
You may be eligible for a rebate through your private health fund, depending on your level of cover. Please note that you cannot claim Medicare and private health rebates at the same time.
DO I NEED A REFERRAL?
You do not need a referral to see any of our team. However, you will not be able to claim a rebate from Medicare without one.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
The amount of sessions depends on a number of factors. However, our team will aim to get the results you want as quickly as possible. Some people only require 1-3 sessions, whilst others need 6-10 sessions or more. Many people also choose to have monthly mental health 'check-ins' to stay on top of their mental health.
MY GP HAS FAXED / EMAILED MY REFERRAL, NOW WHAT?
We do not action a referral sent to us by fax or email until you, the client, has contacted us directly to make a booking. Typically, we ask that you to bring your referral along to the first session so we can process the rebate immediately.
DO YOU PROVIDE REPORTS FOR LAWYERS, INSURANCE COMPANIES OR COURT CASES?
No, we do not write reports for legal or insurance matters. Our team provide provide therapy to individuals and we are not forensically trained. If you require a report, please speak to your GP for an appropriate referral to a psychologist with specialist skills in this area.
